Abstract: . . .  nella loro applicazione, is necessary that each member and department of the company follow strict regulations in order to determine the purpose, the methods, the responsi- bilities and the control of the work underlying each manufacturing operation. In order to gather all the activities necessary within the company for establi- shing their own internal quality criteria, a group of European countries has determined the acknow- ledgement and issuance of a series of regulations (the ISO 9000 standards) which describe 3 levels of quality application and which take the name of - quality systems - with different levels of applicative difficulties, according to the various types of pro- ducts. The practical application of the regulations ofe the company daily activities is a matter requi- ring great attention and which imposes the adop- tion of highly flexible criteria, in such a way as to eliminate those aspects of the daily routine that build up over the years. . . .
. . .  il I f we want to talk about certification, I suggest taking off from our day-to-day life in order to determine just how any of the activities we nor- mally carry out, or how many documents we use, are connected to the subject. How many times have we stood in a queue waiting to inquiry the man at the counter and get a cada- stral, medical, residency or birth certificate...
